Living With Skeletons

Fishhook Theatre Company presents

Living With Skeletons

by Daniel Fischer

“No one knows what happens after we die.”

Oscar can’t stop worrying about death. Ella can’t stop worrying about Oscar. While the young writer catalogues his snowballing existential crises, his half-sister ricochets through a kaleidoscopic wonderland filled with witches, pirates, and strange, hungry creatures called Fuzzies. Time unravels. Space turns over. A deeper mystery simmers beneath the surface, and Oscar’s in the centre of it all, if Ella could just find her way back to him.

Making its global debut at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Living With Skeletons is a mind-bending folk-musical rabbit-hole that takes a curious dive into living beings’ intrinsic fear of the “end”.

If you'd like to contribute to this event, we're raising funds to afford accommodations in, and travel to/from Edinburgh. Since we're an amateur company, we're funding this project completely independently, so we could use all the help we can get!

No amount is too small (or too big, wink wink).
